The Accident

 The Accident

It is a beautiful, unseasonably warm, autumn afternoon at Villa Villekulla. Pippi, Annika and Tommy are outside playing dangerously close to the street.

ZOOMMMMMM!! From out of nowhere, a dark green sports car flies down the street towards them. BOOM!

Suddenly, Annika is lying in the middle of the road.

“Annika? Annika? Annika!” cries Tommy, fearfully.

Annika: (moans)

Pippi: “Stop shouting, Tommy!”

Pippi turns towards Annika. “Are you ok, Annika?” asks Pippi.

The driver gets out of the car and slowly checks the vehicle for damage.

Driver:” Silly kids! Look what you have done to my car”, pointing to a dent in the bumper.

"Who cares about your rickety, old car? You need to call an ambulance right NOW!” shouts Pippi.

 Driver (patting his pockets):” Ooops! I seem to have forgotten my mobile.”

"Good for nothing OLD MAN! You are as useful as a giraffe in the city!” says Pippi in frustration. 

Pippi goes into the yard of Villa Villekulla and fetches her horse and walks back to where Annika is lying. Pippi gently lifts Annika onto the horse and with Tommy holding his sister tight, they trot away to the hospital, passing a policeman on the way.

Pippi leans down towards the policeman. “ That man will answer all your questions.” says Pippi.
